What differs is the calibration of the legal reasoner on Eve-Genesis (Law Edition) for the specific vertical: the workflow shape, the documents the analyzers know to parse, and the jurisdictional taxonomies the reasoner navigates.

How the waves work

Three waves. No dates.

In market — PI and WC. Personal Injury is live today, and Workers’ Comp is live for applicant-side California practice — its PD Value Engine, apportionment reasoning, AME/PQME analysis, and C&R-vs-Stips settlement math shipped. Self-serve trial for solo and small practices; sales-assisted for mid-size and enterprise. Every capability listed on each edition’s page is shipped.

Coming next — Mass Tort. We chose MT as the next edition because the supervisor + sub-agent pattern that powers PI is the same pattern mass tort needs at scale — one Justine coordinating thousands of plaintiff sub-agents in a single reasoning context.

Wave 3 — on the roadmap. Medical Malpractice, Insurance Bad Faith, Employment Class. These are calibrations away — the document pipeline shape, the jurisdictional rules, the per-vertical motion practice. The reasoning core is the same.

We don’t publish dates because we don’t miss them. When an edition opens, we announce it on the day it’s ready and we reach out to every attorney who told us about their practice — in the order they told us.

      Opt-in, STOP-compliant client texting for case-status updates and reminders, with an attorney-alert number-privacy relay that masks the attorney’s personal number. Transmitted via Azure Communication Services on a toll-free line.

    • Bilingual EN / ES (WC)

      On the Workers’ Comp edition, client letters draft in English or Spanish and voice dictation + read-aloud honor either language — so the applicant reads and hears their case in the language they speak.

      Outlook calendar + email integration and OneDrive document sync. Single sign-on via Microsoft Entra ID is available under enterprise terms. The identity boundary your firm already runs on.

      Attach document libraries from Dropbox to matters without copy-and-paste; the canonical record stays where the firm already keeps it.

    • DocuSign (bring-your-own)

      Firms standardized on DocuSign can connect their own account under Settings → Integrations → Advanced (supplying their own integration key) to view their existing envelopes. This is a bring-your-own connection, not a one-click integration like Microsoft 365 or Dropbox, and it does not send or create envelopes. Native in-app e-signature (ESIGN / UETA) remains the default.

    • CourtListener

      Every case-law citation resolved against CourtListener at generation time — fail-closed. Filevine, telephony, and third-party case-management connectors are on the roadmap.

    Bidirectional sync with Filevine for firms migrating from it. On the roadmap — not live today. The turnkey approved integrations today are Microsoft 365 and Dropbox; DocuSign is available as a bring-your-own connection (firms supply their own integration key to view their envelopes).

Every JustineAI™ edition runs on Eve-Legal™ Fusion v5 — a compositional fabric, not a stack. One Microsoft Phi-3 classifier, one Eve-Legal™ F5/reasoner trained on Eve-Genesis™ (Law Edition), three frontier slots composed per request. The reasoner owns the request; the frontier models consult.

Where a jurisdiction or client prohibits a specific provider, that provider is swapped without rebuilding the agent. Provider-agnostic by design.

Routes each request to the right depth — quick lookup versus deep investigation — in under a second. The first responder of the architecture; decides which downstream models compose for the query at hand.

REASONEREve-Legal™ F5/reasoner — a Microsoft Phi-4-derived Small Reasoning Model, LoRA fine-tuned on Eve-Genesis™ (Law Edition)

The law reasoner. Trained on a synthetic reasoning dataset built from canonical law methodology — specifically the reasoning modes the discipline actually uses (analogical, abductive, dialectical). The orchestrator: scaffolds the reasoning structure, delegates sub-problems to the frontier slots as consultants, synthesises the final answer in the discipline’s idiom. No customer data in training.

FRONTIER SLOTSThree frontier models · best-fit per release

Three frontier models composed dynamically per request — one for deep synthesis and judging, one for alternative reasoning paths, one for long-context analysis. Provider-agnostic by design; any model can be swapped without rebuilding the agent. The frontier models work for us, not the other way around.

We don’t compete with frontier labs on foundation-model capability. We compose frontier models into our reasoning systems. Eve-Genesis™ training data is 100% synthetic by construction — no customer conversation is ever used to train a model.
