ICD-10 / CPT codes pipeline.
Coding the medical record is one of the highest-effort tasks in a PI matter and one of the most repetitive. JustineAI runs every medical record through an ICD-10 / CPT extraction pipeline — the diagnoses and procedures are identified, normalised to current code sets, cross-referenced to the chronology, and assembled into a per-package exhibit. The attorney reviews and approves the assembled coding; the manual extraction work is eliminated.
What the platform actually does.
- 01
ICD-10 extraction operates against the current code set with backward-compatible mapping for older records.
- 02
CPT extraction handles the procedure narrative in clinical notes and the explicit code lists in EOB-style documents.
- 03
Cross-reference: the codes are tied to the chronology entry they support, so the demand package shows the code AND the source record on the same line.
- 04
Code-set version is recorded per matter; if the demand goes out under a different code set than the original records, the mapping is explicit.
- 05
Attorney-attestable: every code surfaces with the source quote and a one-click jump to the record.
